Dear Mary Jo and Sue,

Jack has been on my mind alot as Memorial Day has approached. He was one of my innermost circle of friends, which made his loss especially hard. It has been a bittersweet time this past year since you contacted me, recalling those days when he and I were buddies and all that that meant to me. I am very glad indeed that you "found" me and regret that I didn't get around to looking for you. The idea of going through the Withrow alumni is really so obvious! And there you both were - still living in Cincinnati!
