Dear Mr. and Mrs. Buxton,

We have been so happy to have your son in our choir here at Lakeside Methodist Church in Pine Bluff.

Yesterday, he sang "The Lord's Prayer" for us and you would have been very proud of him, could you have heard him.

Feeling you would be glad to know he is in church each Sunday, he can be, and using his fine voice for God's glory. I am taking this privilege of writing to you.

We think you have a boy you can rightly be proud of and our prayer is that he may soon be back home again.

He tells us you may be down to see him so we will look forward to meeting you.
