Dear Folks,

Just about 5 minutes ago I received my shipping orders - I go to Pine Bluff, Arkansas. We will leave San Antonio by train at 3:00 a.m. Saturday morning and are scheduled to arrive at Pine Bluff Sunday evening. According to the map, Pine Bluff is exactly 1/2 way to Cincinnati as the crow flies. So, I got a "good deal."

Priestley is going to Pine Bluff also, but Bodiker is going to Oklahoma City. As soon as I arrive at my destination, I'll send a telegram and give you my new address.

I was over to see Rich O'Brien yesterday. He's looking fine and certainly was glad to see me. Naturally, I was glad to see him. Rich has received rather a "raw deal." He still isn't an aviation cadet and won't be until he has finished pre-flight. He wears just straight G.I. clothing and eats G.I. food.

Well, I've got lots of letters to write and very little time to do it in, so...
