Hi. Just to show you we do have a depot - just in case you should ever decide to come visit our beautiful state. By the way, how does your garden grow? We're waiting for your next visit.

Dear Pop,
Greetings from Colorado. The land of glorious sunshine and eternal health. If you ever come to Colorado, be sure and go see the Royal Gorge.

Hi again. You would have loved our state if you had been along on our little fishing trip. We had a wonderful time - Jack's leaving tomorrow and I'm a pretty sad kid tonight. Enjoyed seeing you and Mrs. Buxton in the home movies. You stole the show.

Dear Dad,
Just came back from a three day vacation in the mountains. The Browns, Carol and I, Alex and a girl named Mary Ellen Francis went up to San Isabel on Thursday - came back Saturday. I tried fishing - didn't catch a blasted thing. By the way, I'll be home in about 10 days - maybe.

Dear Mom,
Like I told Dad, we just came back from a short vacation at this spot. It's really beautiful. We had a wonderful time. Carol and I really are two sunburned kids. We tried fishing, but had no luck. Guess I just don't know how it's done. You should have the films by now - a letter of instruction will follow. I'm leaving for Lincoln, Nebraska tomorrow.
~ Love, Jack
