Howdy Stuff!

Just what is cooking back home? Since none of Mother's mail has come through as yet, how about you writing me a letter? Being from you, this old Army should rush that letter by a special airplane! Then I'd know what is happening back home.

Well kid, this old brother of yours is a long way from home. But he's feeling fine - don't you tell anyone this, but I'm getting fat! Now, just because I'm getting a little plump, don't you decide to do the same. It's enough for one of us good looking kids to be rather fat.

How are all the boyfriends? Now, don't go getting married while I'm gone. Remember, Alex decided not to get married until he saw you. And he's an awful nice guy!
